Police in California, are looking for a prankster who called a Burger King restaurant to inform that there was a gas leak in the store.

The prankster, who pretended to be calling from the fire department, ordered the workers to ventilate the building.  Workers told police that the caller ordered them to smash the windows in order to get air into the place as quickly as possible so that people don’t get sick.

Workers at the Burger King on Quintana Road near Morro Bay, panicked and they smashed all the windows of the building.  For some reason, the manager of the restaurant, who was on duty, took his car and rammed it into the building, causing a lot of damage.

The manage has since been fired. The store was closed for one day while repairs were made. The restaurant owner said that the prankster was responsible for the $35,000 in damages. Police are still investigating the incident, but so far, no arrests have been made.
