A pair of pranksters out to save $9 showed how one man was able to hide under another man’s clothes to sneak into a movie theater.

The video, posted to YouTube by Bo Johnson, features Johnson and a friend, Matthew, experimenting with different methods of concealing Matthew under Johnson’s clothes. Wearing Matthew on Johnson’s back is determined to be too unrealistic, so the men decide a front-carry configuration would be optimal.

The men experiment with their positions until Johnson is able to walk without shaking Matthew free. After the backyard experiments prove successful, the men get back into configuration in the movie theater parking garage, this time with larger clothes to better accommodate the concealed man.

A friend standing at a distance then films as Johnson and a fourth person purchase their tickets. Once their tickets have been purchased and then taken by another employee, the men get into an elevator, where Matthew climbs out of his hiding space on Johnson’s body.

I can’t believe that actually worked,” the man filming says.

A Reddit user noted the ticket seller appeared somewhat suspicious of Johnson’s size. “I can totally imagine the thoughts going through the ticket seller’s head… was probably 90% sure that there was another guy under there, but didn’t want to risk that 10% lol,” Redditor cdna wrote.

Matthew replied that the man “totally gives us a second look as we walk away.” Matthew said Johnson’s video wasn’t the first time he attempted to smuggle a friend into a movie theater, but the previous attempt involved stacking one person atop another under a trench coat a la The Little Rascals.

“We tried it like that about 5 years ago but they were not buying it. They charged us for 2 tickets because we were too tall!” Johnson wrote.
