Dog Reportedly Shoots Pizza Delivery Driver

A man is recovering after allegedly being shot while delivering a pizza to a west Toledo home. Ryan Brill was attempting to deliver a pizza to a home at 5816 Rambo Lane Thursday evening when he was struck in the right leg by a bullet.

According to the police report, Anthony Wulf was inside the home and attempted to put his gun on the table as he went to answer the door. He told police that as he did so, his dog ran to the door knocking the gun out of his hand and onto the ground. As the gun hit the floor, one round was fired, according to Wulf. That bullet struck Brill.

Brill was transported to ProMedica Toledo Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Police have not said if Wulf will face any charges.
